🎧 Zekai Challenge · Customer Support Edition

From zero to AI master.
30 days. 5 minutes a day.

Your AI already speaks for your company — and a tribunal has already ruled that what it says is binding. One 5-minute drill a day, with the rule that protects you built into every one: you own what it says.

Free forever · No app to install · Built on the Zekai Audit of 1,900+ tested AI tools

The Precedent

0 ruling

“The chatbot is a separate legal entity.” The tribunal disagreed.

Air Canada argued it was not responsible for what its chatbot told a customer. The British Columbia Civil Resolution Tribunal found negligent misrepresentation and held the airline liable. What your AI says, your company said.

The Expectation

0%

of consumers expect an explanation for a decision made by AI.

79% say plain-language reasoning matters, and 80% of CX leaders believe transparency will be required for any customer-facing AI within two years. “The system decided” stopped being an answer.

The Stakes

0%

of CX leaders say one unresolved issue is enough to lose a customer.

74% of consumers are frustrated when they have to repeat themselves, and 81% want the next agent to pick up where the last one left off. Speed without accuracy just loses them faster.

The plan is simple.

No course platform. No 6-hour videos. A daily drill you run in any AI assistant — built around real tickets, and around the boundary that keeps an accidental promise from becoming a legal one.

Finish all 30 drills, pass a short final check, and claim your Zekai Challenge Certificate — ready for your LinkedIn profile.

Your 30 days. Every one of them, mapped.

Four weeks, four escalations: foundations → the queue → judgment → mastery. Day 1 is open right now — try it. The rest unlock one per day after you sign the challenge, because mastery is built on daily reps, not binge-reading.

Day 30 has a trophy.

Finish the challenge and earn the Zekai Certificate of Completion — proof you didn’t just read about AI, you practised it for a month. Type your name. Go on.

Certificate of completion of an educational challenge — not a professional certification and not issued by any industry body. But it looks good on LinkedIn.

Questions before you start

Is this really free?
Yes. Zekai is an independent AI tools directory — the challenge is how we introduce people to the tools we test. Some tool pages contain affiliate links; the challenge itself costs nothing and requires no purchase.
Is my company liable for what an AI tells a customer?
A tribunal has already said yes. In Moffatt v. Air Canada the airline argued its chatbot was a separate legal entity responsible for its own actions; the British Columbia Civil Resolution Tribunal rejected that, found negligent misrepresentation and held the airline liable. That case is why four of these thirty drills exist. Day 6 builds the promise boundary into your prompt, day 13 makes a model invent a refund policy so you can see the failure, day 24 is a pre-send audit, and day 28 has you write your disclosure and escalation policy. This is not legal advice — take your policy to your own counsel.
Can I paste customer tickets into ChatGPT?
Not with the customer’s details in them. Every drill that touches ticket content carries an anonymisation instruction: strip names, emails, order numbers and payment details first. Day 9 also makes explicit what must never be AI-drafted at all — legal threats, data-breach reports, safety issues and anything involving a vulnerable customer.
Will this replace my support team with a bot?
The opposite. Every drill is about making a human better and faster at the judgement parts — de-escalation, escalation quality, root-cause analysis, saying no well. Day 29 specifically teaches you to reject tools that measure deflection instead of resolution.
Why can’t I see all 30 drills at once?
Because binge-reading builds nothing. The challenge unlocks one drill per day from the day you sign — the way any skill gets built: daily reps. Day 1 is open right now so you can try it before committing.
Do I need any AI experience?
Zero. Day 1 assumes you have never written a deliberate prompt. By day 14 you will be turning a messy thread into an escalation that does not bounce back. Never used an AI assistant? 2-minute setup guide →
What if I miss a day?
Life happens, and so do outages. The challenge is sequential, not strict-daily. Pick up where you left off; the certificate cares that you finish all 30, not that you were perfect.
I’m not in support. Is there a challenge for my profession?
Every edition is built the same way, for a different desk — you can see all of them on the challenge hub, and new professions are added regularly. If yours is not there yet, sign up and we’ll tell you the day it launches.
